We have started on a new residence design for the Nelsons. Their new home will be located in Keleakekua Bay Estate, Hawaii. The owner wishes for a house that consist of pods surrounding a courtyard. They like many features of the Sato Residence so with that project as a reference point their home will have similar passive cooling features such as extensive roof venting and shading to reduce solar heat gain. The exterior walls will also be vented.
